Fungoid Zine
Fungoid Zine is a quarterly zine about the beautiful world of fungus all around us!! Even when we don't see them, they are underground in the soil, in plant roots, between animal and plant cells, and many other places.
Despite often going unseen or unnoticed, they provide many vital resources and functions for the world, people, and themselves. Their spores travel through the air, on the backs of insects and animals, through raingall and rivers, hoping to find a new home and to begin life.
In truth, earth is a fungal world full of connection, cooperation, competition, queer entaglement, and breathtaking diodiversity.

Welcome to the very first issue of Fungoid Zine! We picked the theme 'Primordia' to parallel this being our first issue. The primordia of a mushroom is the first visual evidence of a mushroom's life that we can see with the naked eye. Over time these small little bundles of cells swell and become a full sized, mature musroom: we hope we will also grow slowly over time as a zine.
